Kia Forte EX is Fast & Fun to Drive

A few weeks ago, I got to drive my third Kia (I previously drove the Kia Sorento and the Kia Optima Hybrid). This time I got to drive the Kia Forte EX on my road trip to Paso Robles for Fitcation.

In my head, the drive was going to be up the coast, but in reality it was through the desolate desert. It was a nice, peaceful (but long) drive and being in the Kia Forte made it very pleasant.

It handles very well and drives smoothly. So much so that I kept driving way faster than I intended unless I was using the cruise control. Oops. I highly recommend using the cruise control in this car.

I was comfortable in the driver’s seat. Everything was within reach and I was very comfortable for the entire 5 hour (each way) drive.

While I didn’t install the car seats in this car, there seemed to be plenty of room in the backseat for the carseats.

The trunk also had ample space for my suitcase and all of the bags of goodies I brought home from Fitcation.

The car was also very fuel efficient. I got 32 miles per gallon on my road trip. I was very pleased with that! It’s rated for 25 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.

I can say – I haven’t been disappointed by any of the Kias I have driven so far! If you’re looking for an affordable (starting at $15,900), fuel efficient car that is also fun to drive and has lots of options available be sure to check out the Kia Forte EX!
