San Diego Road Trip in the Hyundai Sonata Limited

Over Spring Break, the girls and I decided to go spend a week in San Diego. We did lots of fun stuff, spent lots of time with family and I got to teach an essential oils class too – one of my favorite ways to spend my time!

When we had the opportunity to drive the 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited to San Diego, we jumped on it. I love taking cars I’ve never driven before on road trips. It’s seriously the best way to get to know them!

First thing I noticed is how incredibly easy it was to install the car seats. I hate cars where I have to dig around to find the LATCH Anchors. In the 2015 Hyundai Sonata, it is so easy to find them. They have this nifty little system where all you have to do it push the LATCH buckles right onto the anchors – easy peasy. I have never had such an easy carseat install.

The girls absolutely loved how much room they had in this backseat too. They were really bummed to see this car go, and said they’d love to ride in the back of this car every day.

The drivers seat was also incredibly comfortable. I hate going on a road trip in a new car and discovering that the seat is uncomfortable! I was very pleased with how much I enjoyed driving this car.

And the trunk. I was blown away by how big it was. I was able to fit our BOB Double Jogger in the trunk and still have plenty of room to pack our bags too. Most sedans I’ve driven don’t have a trunk this big. The trunk is a big selling point for me on the 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited.

The gas mileage was good too. It gets 25 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway. This makes it awesome for road trips that keep you on the highway most of the time.

If we were in the market for a sedan, the Hyundai Sonata Limited would definitely be on our list of cars to consider. If you’re shopping for a sedan, be sure to go test drive one today!
